Since our goal is honesty and transparency on issues impacting our community, we thought we should write about an event that happened yesterday in the former bucolic community of Chagrin Falls.
The event was labeled as a promotion for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)…the children that were brought to the United States by their illegal alien parents. Here are a two pictures that show what the event looked like in the Triangle Park in downtown Chagrin Falls.
Undaunted, our Kirtland lobbyist and myself decided to offer a counter protest, by sitting on the park bench outside of their event and hold up these signs.
Within ten minutes we were “greeted” by annoying photographers, and a dozen officials of the event glaring at us, and asking questions. We were even given a history lesson by one, presumably well-intentioned woman. She informed us that she was a genealogist, and had traced her family history back to the year 1099. She continued her monologue and told us that this country was stolen from the indians, and that we are all children of God.
I have to admit that I did not tell her my true feelings about her statements, because we were there to offer a silent protest to politicians that have sold out the average American citizen to the globalists that do want borders for any country.
I did blurt out that we believe in the sovereignty of the United States. Upon hearing this, several of them just cast a downward glance, and shook their head as if to say, there is no hope for these two lost souls. No Borders = No Sovereignty = No Country
Since when was expressing love of country considered hate speech? I took an oath to defend my country from all foreign and domestic threats – and I never go back on a promise.
